In the hustle and bustle of Easter preparations, it’s easy enough to forget to buy moulds for baking Easter cakes. But there is no need to run to the shop, you can easily make them with your own hands. All you need for this is a jar and aluminium foil. We tell you, referring to the video from TikTok, how to quickly make moulds for Easter with your own hands.

How to make your own Easter moulds: a useful trick with foil

  • First you need to take a jar, you can also take a pot, a large glass, a roll of toilet paper or another object that will become the base for the mould.
  • Cut 2 pieces of aluminium foil of the required size from the roll and fold in half. However, make sure that the matt side of the foil is on the inside.
  • Place the can on the foil and wrap it around the perimeter and press down. You can place the jar or other container upside down to make it more convenient.
  • Then remove the mould from the jar, bend the edges so they don’t stick out, then the mould will look neat.
  • You can use parchment to keep the easter from sticking to the bottom of the mould. Take a sheet of baking parchment and place the tin on it. Trace the bottom of the jar around the perimeter with a pencil and cut out.
  • Place this circle on the bottom of the mould and butter it thoroughly. This is to avoid the dough sticking to the sides and bottom.

Remember to place the dough so that it occupies about 1/3 of the volume of the mould.

Once the Easter cakes are baked, the moulds can be easily dismantled and removed.
