One of the simplest yet effective ways of feeding is the application of organic fertiliser
In order to get a large and healthy crop of potatoes, it is necessary to feed them regularly. Without this, it will be hard to grow good fruit. However, dacha growers note one effective remedy that instantly contributes to a large harvest.
One of the simplest and at the same time effective ways of feeding is the use of organic fertilisers. Today we will share a recipe that will require only three spoons of one natural component that will help potatoes develop healthy and strong.
Three tablespoons of ash is required to make this fertiliser. Ash from wood burning is a rich source of potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and other beneficial elements that promote plant growth. It increases yields, improves soil structure and strengthens plants, making them resistant to diseases.
To make the fertiliser, you need to mix the main ingredient with 10 litres of water. Stir the mixture well so that the ingredients are evenly distributed. Then leave the solution to infuse for 24 hours so that the ash dissolves completely and gives its useful elements to the water.
For watering potatoes, use the prepared solution instead of ordinary water. It is best to feed in the morning or evening, when the sun is not so bright. This will avoid burns on the leaves and ensure better assimilation of nutrients. This fertiliser can be used every fortnight, which will ensure regular nutrition for the plants throughout their growth period.
It should be remembered that excessive use of fertiliser can have unpredictable consequences. Therefore, it is important to strictly follow the recommended doses and periods between fertilisers. The correct use of natural ingredients will help you to get a healthy and abundant potato crop that will amaze you with its quality and quantity.
